Both scales are first milled to shape and the obverse (near-side) scale is machined to accept the lock bar for the knife’s streamlined Compression Lock® mechanism. Their outer surfaces are then painstakingly machined to create an intricate “Cosmic Arc™” pattern that is both visually stunning and provides a subtle, non-slip texture. The scales are then anodized a stunning orange color. Like all Para Military 2s, this expression of the design also includes a four-position pocket clip that supports ambidextrous tip-up or tip-down carry.
