CPM 20CV is an advanced powder metallurgy stainless steel that contains a high volume of vanadium carbides and the highest amount of chromium of any vanadium-rich stainless steel currently available. This sophisticated alloy mix gives it a remarkable combination of high wear resistance, superior corrosion resistance, good impact toughness, and excellent polishability. These properties are further enhanced by Crucible’s state-of-the-art powder metallurgy process, which ensures a very fine grain size and uniform distribution of the alloys throughout the steel.
